Why Telling People To “Book Now” Won’t Actually Get You Inquiries Faster
You’re staring down your client list thinking, “how can I grow this and FAST”? If you’re thinking of just spamming social media telling people tp “book now” or “check out this promo” you’re going to be dissapointed. People care about booking trips, yes. But to sell them on booking those trips with you, you have to paint a picture of what’s in it for them when they work with you.
Yes, they’ll get a trip planned, but they can plan a trip themselves — you have to go beyond the surface level need and dig deeper so they understand that working with you means a better travel planning experience than they can gve themselves.
Here’s how to do that. The examples below can be used on your website, in your social media contet, and in your emails:
Instead of saying “I plan trips designed for you” say this instead:
Cookie cutter? Not for my clients! My travel planning services include an itinerary designed with your interests and travel preferences, so you never have to settle.
Instead of saying “I save you time by planning your trip” say this instead:
Instead of wrestling with endless Google search results on travel just to get that trip planned, delegate it to me instead so you can reclaim your time and focus on all of your other to-do’s.
Instead of saying “Plan a trip, the kids will love” say this instead:
I help make your trips unforgettable. As in, you’ll have to beg the kids to want to go home. Fair warning: they won’t want to leave!
Instead of saying “Hit all of your vacation must-haves” say this instead:
It isn’t just about getting the trip booked; it’s about making sure it you have a perfectly balanced itinerary with all of the right activities, tours, and leisure time. Because you don’t want to be stuck wondering, “Did I plan enough to get the most out of my vacation?” (Don’t worry, we’ll worry about that for you).
